We occasionally have puppies available for show or companion homes. Because we are breeding to preserve the breed applicants for show puppies get first pick over companion homes. All companion puppies are sold under a co-ownership with no breeding rights.

Puppies are sold around 10 weeks. They will have received their first set of vaccinations, dewormed, had their first vet exam, microchipped, groomed, started on potty training and clicker training. They are sold with AKC registration papers, a copy of their pedigree, a bag of puppy food, and a puppy pack.

All puppies are raised in our home and under our feet, we follow Jerry Hope's Superstar Dog Raising program 

for increased brain development, socialization skills, imprinting, and training. Puppy buyers are required to have a trainer or training facility lined up to continue furthering the socialization and training we have started for your puppy.

Our English Setters will grow to have long beautiful feathering and jackets that requires regular grooming care. Our puppies receive several grooms before they go to their new home including baths, exposure to a blow dryer, nails trimmed, and fur shaved. Whether you decide to keep their coat long or have it shaved, puppy buyers are required to have a groomer lined up if they are not able to bring their puppies back to me for grooming, and must commit to frequent grooming. I am also happy to help find a groomer that can properly groom a setter in your area.

A NON REFUNDABLE deposit of $500 is required to reserve a puppy from a litter. The deposit is compensation for my puppy mentoring knowledge and time, and will be put toward the total cost of the puppy. If your opt not to purchase a puppy after putting down a deposit it is payment for my mentoring services.

How to apply for a puppy

Please click on the link to fill out an application.  The application is confidential, and your contact information will be used to update you in the future on upcoming litters or if we have an older puppy or adult become available. I do not discriminate based on any of the questions in the application, but your answers will help me when I'm placing puppies in a litter. Every puppy will make a great pet but not every puppy is suited for every type of home.

Cost

Cost for one of our puppies starts at $2400. We do not charge differently for show quality, color, markings, or sex. ALL of our puppies are born and raised as equals, some puppies are just meant for different roles in their lives.

What is included in the Cost

Puppies are sent home dewormed, microchipped, and first puppy vaccine and veterinary examination performed at 7 weeks of age. Puppies are BAER tested at 7 weeks and the results are sent to OFA. 

Puppy owners will receive a New Puppy Care Packet with information on how your puppy was raised, a 3 generation AKC pedigree, proof of OFA health testing performed on their sire and dam of the puppy, photos of the puppy up to 8 weeks of age, AKC registration, and a New Puppy Care Package including a sample of their food, and other care items to help get them settled in their new home. The puppies will have received several baths and nail trims prior to going home and will have their first breed standard groom before leaving. Puppies are started on crate training, potty pad training, outdoor potty training, leash training, and will know basic obedience such as "sit", "down", "wait" and "come" and will be started on bite inhibition training prior to leaving for their new homes.

Transport

We are willing to deliver puppies to the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport for carry on flight transport prior to 16 weeks of age and airline cargo transport after 16 weeks of age. We will allow puppies to travel by ground transport if the buyer is utilizing a puppy nanny, we do not allow commercial ground transport as an option. Buyers are responsible for all transportation costs. For no additional fee we are willing to transport the puppy via carry on flight ourselves, but buyer must pay for the round-trip flight.
